An animal health technology startup announced plans to move its headquarters to Kansas City from Santa Rosa, California.
Scollar Inc. officials hope to create 200 jobs and an annual payroll of $17 million with the move to Kansas City.
Scollar produces a smart collar, mobile app and data cloud service designed "to address the needs of pet parents, protein producers and veterinarians, as well as animal service providers and product manufacturers."
