Senate passes Inflation Reduction Act

With a tie-breaking vote from Vice President Kamala Harris, the U.S. Senate on Sunday passed the Inflation Reduction Act.

The economic package is designed to slow climate change, moderate pharmaceutical costs and tax large corporations, among other measures.

The House next is expected to pass the bill to President Joe Biden's desk.
