Senate Judiciary Committee sets Kavanaugh vote for Friday

The Senate Judiciary Committee scheduled its vote on Brett Kavanaugh's Supreme Court nomination for Friday.

The vote is slated to happen a day after the committee is set to hear testimony from Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford, who accused him of sexually assaulting her when they were teenagers.

If approved by the committee, Kavanaugh's nomination would be brought to the full Senate floor.
