The heir to the Samsung empire is now a suspect in the massive corruption scandal in South Korea, prosecutors say.
Samsung Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong has been summoned for questioning over suspicions including bribery, CNNMoney reports. Jae-yong is expected to succeed his ailing father to lead Samsung.
The corruption scandal has put a magnifying glass on the ties between South Korea's political and business elites.
The scandal has caused large street protests. Last month, lawmakers voted to impeach President Park Geun-hye.
