PepsiCo to buy SodaStream for $3.2B

PepsiCo today announced plans to buy at-home carbonated drink maker SodaStream.

The deal valued at $3.2 billion would have Pepsi paying $144 per share in cash for SodaStream's outstanding stock.

"We get to play in a business — home beverages — where we don't play," PepsiCo CFO Hugh Johnston said.
