People Centric Consulting Group: Creating a Workplace Culture Movement

Business consulting is nothing new. When a company has a problem, they turn to a consulting firm to help fix that problem. Most firms meet with a client to ask questions and then generate a report of those findings and deliver it to the leaders of the company. There is generally little to no follow up provided by the consultant to implement the change that is actually required to improve that company’s culture going forward.

People Centric understands that when a business has a problem it can usually be traced back to the culture of that business. People Centric stands apart, going further than most firms by providing insight and advice and actually partnering with their clients to walk them through the changes that will improve that company’s culture for the long term.

Culture is a buzzword in business right now. Many offices want to put in Ping-Pong tables and have potlucks to build office culture but the thing is, an office has a culture whether everyone is aware of it or not. People Centric helps businesses focus on creating high-performance cultures through their people. This has a positive impact on productivity, employee turnover, and general workplace satisfaction.

“We’re doing something that no one else is doing. Culture is really important and we’re making sure that people are focusing on that,” says Chief Business Officer Diana Day. “We’re making a very hard thing easy.”

Organizations have focused on systems for the past 100 years. People Centric believes the next 100 years will be focused on people. People are the key component that drive business and make business happen. People Centric helps organizations create high performance cultures through the People Centric Approach of engagement, focus, and accountability.

People Centric wants to build companies that believe in mutual respect, shared purpose, and great communication. The firm believes that organizations that focus on their employees perform better than those who focus solely on profits. “We aren’t just building a company, we’re creating a movement,” says Day.

In testament to their success, revenue at People Centric has grown consistently by 40 percent every year since People Centric’s inception and nearly doubled in the last year. To accommodate that growth, the firm has added a new team member each year and plans to add two this year.

People Centric not only helps other companies cultivate their culture, they also practice what they preach. Everything about People Centric’s culture is noteworthy. “We live by our core values and we absolutely believe in what we are doing,” says Day.
