Officials from Springfield-based O'Reilly Hospital Management LLC and Choice Hotels International Inc. broke ground last month on a planned four-story hotel in Desert Ridge, Ariz., a community in the northeast valley of Phoenix.
The groundbreaking marked the ceremonial beginning to a 121-room Cambria Suites project in Arizona, according to a news release.
"Cambria Suites Phoenix-Desert Ridge is in a prime location to meet the in-bound travel needs of surrounding employers like American Express, Henkel and Mayo Clinic," Cambria Suites Senior Vice President Michael Murphy said in the release.
The hotel is the second planned Cambria Suites in a
partnership between O'Reilly Hospitality and Choice Hotels. The companies broke ground in June on a four-story, 129-room hotel in Plano, Texas. O'Reilly Hospitality would manage the hotels.
The Phoenix hotel would be the first of the Cambria Suites brand in Arizona, the release said.[[In-content Ad]]
