Good and Perfect Gifts LLC
After 12 years operating in Eldon, Jera Lincoln moved Good and Perfect Gifts LLC to Springfield on Sept. 8 to 1145 E. Republic Road in the Twin Oaks Shopping Center. The store sells women’s jewelry, handbags, gifts, candles and home decor. Lincoln, who got into the retail business after selling an 18-agent real estate firm, said Good and Perfect Gifts previously catered to the seasonal crowds that flocked to Lake of the Ozarks. But she’s lived in Springfield the last five years and wanted to move closer to home and gain more traffic exposure. Lincoln also opreated a store in Jefferson City but closed it 18 months ago to focus on one location. Infill and occupancy costs were not disclosed on the three-year lease with Post Time Properties LLC for the 3,800 square feet in a double unit that once was part of Christian Publishers Outlet. The store has four employees.

Stevie Rozean Co.
Former Springfield Business Journal reporter Stevie Rozean transitioned into an illustration and lettering business in April. “I design art pieces for homes and weddings,” she said. Branded as Stevie Rozean Co., she produces commissioned paintings of families, engaged couples, homes and pets, in addition to custom wedding invitations and decor with handpainted lettering. She also sells prints of her original paintings of nature as well as inspirational quotes from Jesus Christ, Nelson Mandela and Arthur Ashe. The home-based business started with $500 for a website and supplies, she said, and currently sells exclusively online. Rozean built her site through e-commerce platform Squarespace and promotes through social media and Etsy.com. Rozean said she’s earned about $5,000 to date and works part time in a coffee shop.

PuroClean Certified Restoration
After operating in Republic the first two years in business, Chad and Christina Jameson moved PuroClean Certified Restoration on Sept. 4 to 3135 S. Scenic Ave. Jameson Certified Restoration LLC is a franchisee of PuroSystems LLC, handling water, fire, mold and biohazard cleanup for residential and commercial clients. Chad Jameson said most customers find the company in online searches, after a leak from a dishwater or smoke damage due to a cooking mishap. The five employees also can clean up crime scenes and sewage spills within a 30-mile radius around Springfield, he said. The 5,000-square-foot warehouse and office is under a three-year lease from Wilhoit Properties for undisclosed terms. The Scenic Avenue space is more than double PuroClean’s previous location, he said, making room for a fleet of three vehicles, as well as carpet cleaners, fans and other equipment. Previously, Jameson worked in real estate preservation for 10 years as Jameson Property Group LLC.
