Rows and rows of server racks. Double-door secured entry. Limestone walls wrapped around 80,000 square feet. Motion-sensor lighted hallways. Two 15-foot generators. One-way in; one-way out. And an authentic fossil in the ceiling outside the conference room.

“How many offices have a fossil?” asks Todd Murren, general manager for Bluebird Network at Springfield Underground.

It’s called Bluebird Underground, and this office takes the award for the most unique in Springfield.

Yes, it’s on two levels. All underground.
