Mid-Missouri Bank promoted Camille Burns to senior vice president of operations and Kim McNealy to senior vice president and branch manager in Republic. Burns has worked with the bank for 15 years and McNealy has been with the bank for 12 years.

KPM CPAs PC hired Jason Akers as information technology administrator. He has 20 years of IT experience and is a Microsoft certified IT professional.

PrimeLending added Tamra Dean as a mortgage loan originator in the Springfield branch office. She has 12 years of mortgage industry experience and most recently worked for BancorpSouth as a mortgage loan officer.

Springfield First Community Bank hired J.J. Zind as vice president/mortgage loan originator in its Home Loan Center. She has worked as a mortgage adviser for 12 years, most recently at BancorpSouth, and recently received Greater Springfield Board of Realtors’ Affiliate of the Year Award.

Education
The Schweitzer Brentwood Branch Library named Jeana Gockley as manager. She succeeds Kim Flores, who is the new Library Station manager. Gockley worked as director of the McDonald County Library since February 2016 and previously was a children’s librarian at the Joplin Public Library.

College of the Ozarks was ranked among the 10 Most Beautiful Colleges in the Midwest by GreatCollegeDeals.net. Colleges are ranked by awards and recognition, student enjoyment, notable features, environmental friendliness and historical significance.

C of O’s new fire science program was recognized as a National Fire Academy-Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education program.

C of O is the first four-year college in Missouri certified by the NFA.

Missouri State University hired Springfield Fire Chief David Hall as its first emergency preparedness manager. Hall worked for the Springfield Fire Department for 27 years, serving as fire chief since 2009. He’s also chairman of the Greene County 911 Advisory Board.

Allison Armstrong, assistant speech and debate coach at Kickapoo High School, received the National Speech & Debate Association’s Diamond Coach Award, based on points earned in the national honor society through team participation, student achievement, public service and leadership work. She holds a master’s in English education from MSU.

Environment
Environmental Works Inc. hired Jeremy Snow as client manager. He most recently worked as a planner for the city of Springfield and is a former U.S. Army engineer.

Health Care
Integrity Home Care Inc. appointed Erin Sullivan as vice president of operations for the hourly divisions and Leslie Kinkade as interim regional manager for the greater Ozarks area. Sullivan joined the team in November 2015 as regional director of operations in the greater Kansas City area. Kinkade has worked at Integrity since 2014 and was previously promoted to program manager for pediatric services.

Hospitality
Hotel Vandivort
was named a 2016 Best of VIP Access hotel by Expedia.com. Chosen from some 3,000 VIP Access hotels, winners must earn the highest guest satisfaction rankings and must be top market performers.

The Best Western Music Capital Inn in Branson was awarded the Chairman’s Award by Best Western International, recognizing its rank in the top 5 percent of Best Western hotels worldwide. Rankings are based on cleanliness, maintenance, design and customer service.

Insurance
Susan Wood
joined Ollis/Akers/Arney as an account manager. With certifications as an insurance counselor and risk manager, she has 25 years of industry experience.

American Family Insurance added Patricia Albright as a sales specialist. Licensed in life insurance and property and casualty insurance, she has six years of industry experience.

Casey Chastain, a benefits and commercial insurance consultant for Connell Insurance Inc., was named its Producer of the Year. He has worked with Connell for five years and has previously experience with Federated Insurance and Sentry Insurance.

Jewelers
Joshua Pruschen
, watch manager of Maxon’s Diamond Merchants, received Jewelers of America’s certified senior management professional designation. He demonstrated advanced proficiency in jewelry store management skills.

joined Springfield Business Journal as a reporter and editorial researcher. She recently graduated from Evangel University with a bachelor’s in journalism.

Macadoodles
liquor store chain was awarded Retailer of the Year at a dinner held at the St. Regis Rooftop in New York and sponsored by Market Watch Leaders 2016. The Pineville-based franchisor operates in the Springfield, Branson, Joplin, Columbia and Springdale, Arkansas, markets.

Transportation
Private, not-for-profit transportation provider Oats Inc. elected Nolan McNeill, of Cassville, as 2017 board president. He has served on the statewide board for 30 years.
