The president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints died Tuesday at his Salt Lake City home.
Thomas Monson, 90, became president of the Mormon church in 2008.
He "passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family," church officials posted on the official Facebook page.
