Monsanto investing $1B in Louisiana

Monsanto is investing $975 million into its Luling, Louisiana, operations.

The investment is expected to create more than 500 jobs.

Plant expansions and additions are expected to be complete by 2019. They'll support Monsanto’s launch of its Roundup Ready Xtend Crop System.
