Microsoft's bet on the cloud helped to push its annual sales past $100 billion for the first time.
Microsoft reported $110 billion in sales for its 2018 fiscal year that ended in June. That's up 14 percent from the previous fiscal year.
The company's commercial cloud business increased its revenue by 53 percent to $6.9 billion in the last quarter of the fiscal year.
CEO Satya Nadella credited "early investments" in cloud services for the results.
