Meet SBJ’s 2019 Men of the Year

An independent panel of judges has chosen the ninth-annual class of Springfield Business Journal’s Men of the Year. The 20 men will be honored at an August luncheon. 


The award recognizes the professional, philanthropic and civic contributions of men from across southwest Missouri. 


The 2019 Men of the Year honorees, in alphabetical order, are:

  • Kevin Dunaway, Neale & Newman LLP;
  • Todd Edwards, Lloyd’s Cleaners LLC;
  • John Everett, Legacy Bank & Trust Co.;
  • Matthew Hudson, Ozarks Technical Community College;
  • Ben McBride, McBride Law;
  • Tom McClain, Willard Police Department;
  • Abe McGull, U.S. Attorney’s Office;

The Men of the Year luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 16 at the White River Conference Center, 600 W. Sunshine St. More information can be found at SBJ.net/MOTY.


For this year’s event, SBJ is partnering with nonprofit The Salvation Army to help raise funds for shelter, food pantry and feeding site operational costs.
