Disgraced pharmaceutical executive Martin Shkreli was sentenced Friday to seven years in prison.
He had faced up to 45 years for defrauding investors of more than $10 million.
Shkreli, 34, broke into tears and pleaded with the judge for leniency. The judge passed a box of tissues to Shkreli, who gained notoriety for inflating the price of a life-saving drug.
