Jewelry that once belonged to Marie Antoinette is scheduled to go up for sale at a Sotheby's auction Thursday.
The last queen of France before the French Revolution, Antoinette's diamond and pearl pendant is estimated to be worth between $1 million and $2 million. Among other jewelry items, a pearl and diamond necklace is valued at up to $300,000.
Antoinette's jewelry is part of a larger auction with items from the Bourbon Parma family.
Sotheby's, the luxury dealer managing the auction, called the collection "one of the most important royal jewelry collections ever to come to auction."
