National Beverage Corp., the parent company of LaCroix, is facing a class-action lawsuit.
Chicago-based law firm Beaumont Costales filed the suit accusing the LaCroix maker of using ingredients identified by the Food and Drug Administration as synthetic.
The suit alleges National Beverage knows about the chemicals but still promotes LaCroix drinks as all-natural.
“All essences contained in LaCroix are certified by our suppliers to be 100 percent natural,” National Beverage officials said in a release.
