Korean Air CEO fires his daughters

Posted online

Korean Air CEO Cho Yang-ho is firing his daughters from their positions in the company after a pair of scandals.

"As chairman of Korean Air and as the head of my family, I feel miserable by the immature behavior of my daughters," Cho said in a statement Sunday. "I apologize to all Koreans."

Heather Cho four years ago became known for the "nut rage" scandal when she abused cabin crew staff for how macadamia nuts were served.

Emily Cho more recently insulted an advertising executive and threw water in his face, according to CNNMoney.
