Johnson & Johnson beats quarterly expectations

Johnson & Johnson posted better-than-expected fourth-quarter results.

Adjusted earnings per share of $1.97 beat expecations of $1.95. Revenue was $20.4 billion, above the $20.2 billion analysts predicted.

Johnson & Johnson's net income was $3.04 billion, up from a loss of $10.7 billion a year earlier.
