Monett-based financial software firm Jack Henry & Associates (Nasdaq: JKHY) this morning announced the promotion of six of its executives.

Leading the pack is Mark Forbis, the company’s vice president and chief technology officer, who was promoted to executive vice president and chief technology officer, according to a news release.

“Mark has been instrumental in molding our technology direction for decades, and I'm confident that his leadership and dedication will continue to keep us positioned as the leader in our industry,” Jack Henry President and CEO David Foss said in the release.

Forbis joined Jack Henry in 1988. He was promoted to general manager of technology services in 2003 and to vice president and chief technology officer in 2006. He’s credited with researching and developing Jack Henry’s SilverLake core platform and installing the company’s check and document image products.

Jack Henry also promoted:
    •    Greg Adelson to vice president of Jack Henry and general manager of JHA Payment Solutions;
    •    Russ Bernthal to vice president of Jack Henry and vice president of its ProfitStars brand;
    •    Ted Bilke to vice president of Jack Henry and president of its Symitar brand;
    •    Ron Moses to vice president of Jack Henry and general manager of consumer and commercial solutions; and
    •    Stacey Zengel to vice president of Jack Henry and president of Jack Henry Banking.

“Our leadership team at JHA continues to strengthen in experience, tenure and value to our organization,” Foss said in the release. “I’d like to thank Greg, Russ, Ted, Ron and Stacey for their ongoing commitment to JHA and congratulate them on their expanded roles.”

The promotions follow the recent announcement that former Jack Henry CEO Jack Prim stepped down as the company’s executive chairman. He stayed on as board chairman.

Reached via email, Prim said a new executive chairman would not be appointed.
