Hoda Kotb takes over for Matt Lauer on 'Today'

Hoda Kotb is joining Savannah Guthrie as co-anchor of of NBC's "Today."

Kotb takes over for Matt Lauer, who was fired in November over allegations of sexual misconduct.

Kotb joined NBC News in 1998 as a "Dateline" correspondent.
