The Greater Springfield Board of Realtors is gearing up for its third Leadership Academy class.
Modeled after similar programs operated by Missouri Realtors and the National Association of Realtors, the GSBOR academy works with local real estate agents to help them grow their careers by meeting with legislators and community stakeholders on key issues, interacting with boards and associations statewide, and working on projects, according to a news release.
The 2020 class members selected, in alphabetical order, are:
• Joe Bex, AMax Real Estate;
• Bonnie Harmon, Assist 2 Sell;
• Ryan Maddox, Southwest Missouri Realty;
• Cary Prater, Keller Williams Realty;
• Andy Simmons, Century 21 Integrity Group;
• Lisa Tantone, Re/Max House of Brokers;
• Mary Jo Williams, Murney Associates; and
• Chelsea Thomas Zwikelmaier, ReeceNichols Real Estate.
Past Leadership Academy members, including 2019 member Doug Collins, of Re/Max, have gone on to serve on the GSBOR Board of Directors. The latest class brings membership to 24 real estate agents.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
