A PBS report suggests Gov. Eric Greitens' resignation has shifted the state's focus to this year's Senate race.
Greitens’ legal issues had been pressing on U.S. Senate candidate Josh Hawley’s campaign, according to the report. Republicans loyal to the governor grated at Hawley’s calls for him to step down.
Hawley has been attempting to catch up on fundraising in the run against incumbent Sen. Claire McCaskill.

Hawley needs to improve his TV image and present himself as a genuinely fresh alternative to the current senator who has always been self-serving and a seeker of power.
Austin Peteresen is running and I don't even see his name mentioned. Austin Petersen is worth looking into and he stands a better chance against McCaskill. Peteresen has my vote, Hawley just makes me cringe.
