GE brings longtime exec out of retirement

John Rice is returning to General Electric after retiring from the company at the end of 2017.

Rice, the company's former vice chairman, will now chair GE Gas Power.

Rice last year was GE's fifth highest-paid executive, earning $7.9 million, according to the Boston Business Journal.
