Project description: Across the street from the Verandas apartments completed last year, the same construction team is building 11 two-story townhomes on an acre parcel in south Springfield, near Campbell Avenue and Plainview Road. Dan Coryell, vice president of operations for TLC Properties, said residents of the Villas at Verandas would have access to the apartment complex amenities, which include a heated outdoor pool, indoor basketball and a fitness center. He said TLC Properties, which serves as property manager, is preleasing the two- and three-bedroom units – which range from $1,895 to $2,195 per month – but there are no signed occupants. “For that level of townhome housing, people are going to want to see the units, and we haven’t been able to show since they’re still under construction,” Coryell said.
The Republic School District is on track to open its Intermediate School for fifth- and sixth-grade students for the 2025-26 academic year.

It's nice to see additional housing options added in this area of town. Thanks, Coryell family, for being forward thinkers as our fine city's demographic is changing. I definitely think this style of living is appealing to a new group - and one that we need!
