They’re designed as a safe and secure residence for Harmony House officials to place clients who have gone through its shelter or outreach programs. Tony Smith, vice president of construction with The Vecino Group, said the complex will have 46 units in one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts. Construction cost is an estimated $5.7 million of the total development. According to Springfield Business Journal reporting, amenities include a fitness center, community room, children’s playroom and on-site case management. It is funded, in part, through the Missouri Housing Development Commission’s low-income housing tax credit program.
