Project description: National retailers Burlington Coat Factory, Petco and Ross Dress For Less have signed on to the 98-acre development with access to both West Sunshine Street and West Bypass. Burlington plans to occupy nearly half of the building, while Ross Dress For Less is signed on for 25,000 square feet and Petco for 13,500 square feet, according to Springfield Business Journal reporting. Andy Ross, project manager with Morelock-Ross Builders, said another 12,000 square feet of tenant space is available, as well as the area west of Burlington for future buildings. Co-developer Tom Rankin has said two national shoe stores were negotiating for space. BioLife Plasma Services was the first project at the development, when it opened its office last year. Ross declined to disclose the tenant infill cost, but developers have estimated $78.5 million in total build-out.
