Project description: Project architect Buxton Kubik Dodd Creative has signed on as an anchor tenant of National Place, a development on the Medical Mile by real estate agent Mike Fusek. A second, smaller tenant, Missouri Trust Shares Inc., plans to lease half of the second floor, said David Appleby, president of the group working to establish an independent trust company. In addition to the three-story office building, a renovated smaller building will add 4,000 square feet at the narrow 2-acre development. Fusek said a portion of the separate building also is leased to an undisclosed tenant, and a law firm is looking at half of a floor. He declined to name the other tenants.
