Project description: Several months after Bair’s Grocery store and gas station closed on the south side, Mid-Missouri Bank bought the 1.2-acre parcel to relocate its 330 W. Plainview St. branch across the street. The project is a new concept for the bank that strays from tradition – it features ground-to-roof windows, an electric car charging port and an Experience Center displaying iPhones, iPads and Androids to demonstrate Mid-Missouri’s banking technologies. Bank officials say they’ll name the South Campbell Avenue branch’s meeting center the Bair’s Grocery Conference Room. A 20-foot digital marquee has been erected on the site.
