Project description: Three years after opening Hotel Vandivort downtown, the McQueary brothers are adding a second boutique property adjacent to the first. With another 48 hotel rooms planned, the project would roughly double Vandivort’s maximum occupancy. It also features a fifth-story rooftop bar called The Vantage. The building is going up northwest of its current property, on the previous Vandivort parking lot at McDaniel Street and Robberson Avenue. The McQuearys converted a century-old building in a $13 million project to open their first boutique hotel.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
