Project description: Under the third generation of the Johnson family ownership, Color-Graphic Printing is expanding its digital and wide format printing department. President and CEO Grant Johnson said the department now comprises 20 percent of the commercial printer’s business. “It’s been increasing over the years,” he said, noting the addition also will open up the equipment-cluttered production floor. “We spend a lot of time moving skids around so we can work on other projects. This will hopefully give us more room to cut that out.” Johnson’s father Steve transitioned into retirement last year, he said, but still remains an owner. Bill Johnson started Color-Graphic Printing in 1969.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
