Project description: A retail center is nearing completion where a former credit union building was razed earlier this year. Off of Campbell Avenue and Grand Street, the new structure is designed as one open space but could be split into three units based on tenant interest, said Sean Thouvenot, vice president of general contractor Branco Enterprises Inc. He said no tenants have signed on yet. The building will have sheet metal finishing and Artisan brand v-groove siding, Thouvenot said. Officials with developer SJK Property LLC could not be reached for comment before press time. TelComm Credit Union previously owned the property, acquiring it last year in a merger with Springfield Catholic Credit Union, and had closed the branch.
