Former South Korean president jailed for corruption

Lee Myung-bak, the former president of South Korea, was sent to prison for 15 years for corruption.

Lee also was ordered to pay an $11.5 million fine on charges of bribery, embezzlement and abuse of power.

Lee is the fourth former South Korean leader to be jailed following his successor's imprisonment in April.
