Florida woman burned by Starbucks coffee awarded $100K

A Florida woman was awarded $100,00 for her injuries yesterday after being burned by Starbucks coffee.

In 2014, Joanne Mogavero sustained first and second degree burns on her mid-section after the lid popped off a cup of coffee.

Mogavero's attorney argued Starbucks should caution customers that its lid can pop off.
