Fiat Chrysler, UAW officials accused of laundering money

Some officials with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and the United Auto Workers union have been accused of laundering money.

The government claims officials funneled money through a children's charity and laundered it through a hospice that did not provide services.

In its probe, the government is seeking to keep $292,000 it seized from two bank accounts. They are tied to the Hospice of Metropolitan Detroit.
