Felony charges have been filed against the former city clerk of the small north Missouri town of Coffey.
Mary Lou Browning was charged with two counts of forgery, one count of stealing at least $25,000 and one count of stealing at least $750.
Missouri Auditor Nicole Galloway in a July audit alleged Browning stole more than $60,000 from Coffey.
