Federal prosecutors are accusing a former personal assistant to a top Goldman Sachs executive of stealing $1.2 million worth of his wine.
Nicholas De-Meyer is charged with interstate transportation of stolen property for allegedly taking hundreds of bottles across state lines and selling them to a North Carolina-based wine dealer.
Goldman Sachs confirmed the victim was David Solomon, co-president of the New York-based investment bank.
