The lack of women in the financial advising industry is prevalent and all too familiar.
Women only make up 15% of financial advisors across the country today according to Raymond James Aspire Together Magazine.
As a female advisor, it can be incredibly difficult to find a female role model or mentor. It can be equally as difficult for women seeking financial advice to find a female advisor or someone to which they can relate.
This is one of many reasons why I and my team started Affinity Wealth Partners in November.
Affinity Wealth Partners is dedicated to helping women in our community find the advice and planning they need.
Fortunately, our partner Raymond James recognizes the benefit of female advisors, having a support system designed for them. Raymond James offers a women’s network of advisors.
The network encourages us to celebrate the successes of women, while offering valuable insight to help us grow.
Regardless of whether you’re a man or a woman, I believe any position, title, or desired pay scale must be earned.
As leaders, we must never stop learning, continue to challenge ourselves, surround ourselves with only the best and brightest people, and lead by example, to achieve our goals.
