A leading vascular and general surgeon, Charles W. Dunn, MD, specializes in the treatment of varicose veins and vascular conditions.  He is the director of COD’s internationally IAC accredited vascular services lab where seamless same-day vascular services are offered.

Crighton is one of the few local general surgeons using this cutting-edge technology.  He has been a leading general and colon surgeon for 47 years.  Dr. Crighton specializes in general surgery; breast surgical oncology; and colon, gallbladder and hernia surgeries.

Dr. Brian D. Biggers has spent his professional career in general surgery and fighting cancer.  He is Springfield’s only fellowship-trained physician in breast surgical oncology.  He’s been instrumental in spearheading new, innovative care and treatment options for breast cancer.  Dr. Biggers was appointed the Associate Clerkship Director and Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery for the University of Missouri School of Medicine clinical campus.
