China Southern Airlines signed a $5.65 billion deal with Boeing.
Through the agreement, China's largest airline by passenger numbers agreed to buy eight B777-300ER wide body jets and 30 B737-8 narrow bodies.
Funded through China Southern's own funds and loans from commercial banks, the planes are scheduled to be delivered by 2020.
