China announced on Monday it filed a complaint with the World Trade Organization challenging U.S. tariffs.
The announcement came less than a week after the Trump administration proposed a second, $200 billion round of tariffs on China.
The Chinese Ministry of Commerce last week said it would immediately move to file a complaint with the WTO over American unilateralism.
