Posted online
The St. Louis Cardinals are seeking an expansion to the popular Ballpark Village, a dining and entertainment district adjacent to Busch Stadium.

The plans announced this morning call for a $220 million, 550,000-square-foot second phase. In Phase II, the team plans a 29-story, 230-foot-tall apartment tower and a new office building.

Ballpark Village opened in March 2014 as a $100 million, 110,000-square-foot dining and entertainment complex.
