Cambridge Analytica CEO suspended

Cambridge Analytica has suspended its CEO, Alexander Nix, The Guardian reports.

Cambridge Analytica is at the center of a data-mining scandal involving 50 million Facebook users.

In a series of secret recordings broadcast on Channel 4 News, Nix claimed credit for the election of Donald Trump.

“We did all the research, all the data, all the analytics, all the targeting," Nix told an undercover reporter. "We ran all the digital campaign, the television campaign and our data informed all the strategy.”
