Cadillac president departs

General Motors has replaced the president of its Cadillac brand.

Johan de Nysschen left the company, effective immediately. He is succeeded by Steve Carlisle, who most recently served as president and managing director of GM Canada.

De Nysschen departs as U.S. sales continue to fall behind rivals including Mercedes-Benz and Lexus. However, sales in China have been on the rise.
