Advocates concerned as Missourians drop from Medicaid

Posted online

Health care advocates are warning eligible Missourians are being dropped from the state’s Medicaid program.

Missouri Department of Social Services data show over 101,000 people, including 80,000 children, left the program called MO HealthNet from June 2018 through last month.

According to The Joplin Globe, Missourians appear to be leaving Medicaid at higher rates than the rest of the country.
