Activision Publishing CEO leaving the company

Eric Hirshberg is exiting Activision Publishing in March after eight years working as its CEO.

No reason was given for his departure. In the role, Hirshberg reports directly to Activision Blizzard chief Bobby Kotick.

Hirshberg is known for ushering along sales of the “Call of Duty” video game series, as well as the launch of its “Destiny” series.
