Daniel, a member of BKD’s long-term care team, has 20 years of insurance industry experience. Wilson works with BKD health care billing services and holds a bachelor’s in accounting from MSU and an MBA from University of Tennessee-Chattanooga.
Advertising ADsmith Marketing and Advertising promoted Shannon Perryman to vice president of identity services and Stephanie Reppert to vice president of video service. Perryman started working with ADsmith in 2011 as senior art director, and Reppert began as an intern in the video department in 2010.
Banking and Finance Empire Bank hired Mary Worm as mortgage loan officer at its South National Avenue branch. Worm has 15 years of residential home loan experience.
Springfield First Community Bank promoted staff members Wendy Dunlap, Madison Flagg, Nick Spinelli and Becky Scorse. Dunlap, who has 16 years of lending experience, was appointed to assistant vice president of commercial loans from executive loan assistant. A bank credit analyst since 2008 and a senior credit analyst more recently, Flagg was named a credit review officer. Spinelli was promoted to a senior level vice president of information technology and compliance; his previous experience includes working for The Whitlock Co. Scorse was promoted to senior vice president and chief lending officer. With 17 years of commercial lending experience, Scorse joined Springfield First Community Bank in 2012 as senior vice president and commercial loan officer.
Government Gov. Jay Nixon appointed Nancy Hagan, of Springfield, to the Missouri Ethics Commission for a term ending March 15, 2018. A retired music teacher, Hagan worked 31 years for Springfield Public Schools.
Sen. Jay Wasson, R-Nixa, was elected to serve as the state Senate’s majority caucus secretary. Wasson was first elected to the Senate in 2010 after serving as a state representative for eight years.
The state Office of Administration appointed three local representatives to the Missouri Citizens’ Commission on Compensation for Elected Officials: Jim Anderson, of Springfield, Daniel Clemens, of Marshfield, and Tamara Daughtrey, of Bolivar. The 21-person commission establishes the compensation of state officials, members of the General Assembly and judges, excluding municipal judges.
Dr. Randi Green of Springfield Smile Doctor and 104.7 FM awarded veteran Bill Mullett, of Lebanon, up to $7,000 in dental work through the Give a Vet a Smile Contest. Mullett served in the Air Force and was nominated by his daughter, Tonya Brown.

Nonprofit Community Foundation of the Ozarks selected Morey Mechlin as the 2014 Humanitarian Award recipient. Mechlin, who works as executive director of Care to Learn, is scheduled to be honored at a Dec. 15 luncheon.
