5 things to do now if you're near retirement

USA Today compiled a to-do list for those nearing retirement.

1. If you don't have a financial plan, get one done. If you have a financial plan, update it.

2. Review your credit report.

3. Start saving for an emergency fund.

4. Max out your contributions to your retirement accounts.

5. Rebalance your portfolio.
