Established St. Louis craft brewery up for sale

Morgan Street Brewery owners have announced they are selling their business – one of St. Louis’ oldest craft breweries. Founded in 1995, Morgan Street boasts annual revenue of more than $3 million.

The sale price is expected to exceed $5 million for the two-building, downtown brewery, according to an adviser working on behalf of the owners.

The owners – Steve Owings and Dennis Harper – are looking to scale back their business ventures, according the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Together they own Sundecker’s Bar & Grill at Laclede’s Landing, and Harper is a co-owner of Harpo’s restaurant in Chesterfield and Kansas City.
