Could Kansas City host the Super Bowl?

Posted online
The answer is maybe.

According to the Kansas City Business Journal, the Missouri Senate unanimously passed a resolution to create a task force charged with bringing the big game to town.

The measure has moved to the Missouri House.

If adopted, the Missouri Department of Economic Development would form a group to examine what measures need to be taken for Kansas City to host a game, the KCBJ reports.

Arrowhead Stadium underwent a $350 million renovation in 2010. The most recent Super Bowl was played in an outdoor stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. The 2015 game will be played in Phoenix, Ariz.
